The Temazcal is an ancient purification ceremony, often called the ceremony of the first breath because it symbolizes renewal and rebirth. Rooted in ancestral traditions, it is a space for cleansing the body, mind, and spirit through heat, steam, prayer, and community.
Inside the sweat lodge, heated stones are placed at the center, and water is poured over them to create steam, representing the breath of life.
